More about our Flexcore Technology
All Aqua Lily Pad two-layer foam products contain our proprietary FlexCore Technology. FlexCore is a mesh layer that adds reinforcement to the foam providing damage-proof and ripstop attributes – similar to ripstop nylon used in tents. FlexCore adds strength without adding weight or roll memory to the pad.
Unlike other foam pads on the market, our products do not contain woven fabric in the core or on the surface. This eliminates the added weight and stiffness that can cause "roll memory," making our pads easier to roll up and store.
FlexCore has no memory, only roll memory from the foam, and thus when unrolled for use, our pads lay out flatter, quicker on the water.

More about our Duracore Technology
New for 2025, Duracore was developed to add strength and buoyancy to our Tadpole pool pads. Given the smaller pad size, the high-density middle layer maximizes the buoyancy and security of the pad. It also provides damage-proof and ripstop attributes – similar to our proprietary Flexcore Technology. The extra layer does not increase the overall thickness and roll memory, which means the pad is still lightweight, portable and easy to roll up.

More about our Tether Snap System
At Aqua Lily Pad, we continually strive to evolve our products, and make them better, safer, and more durable. We designed a proprietary Tether Snap (grommet) mold. The factory installed tether system on our pads has no sharp edges, so it does not pose an impact hazard to exposed skin. The entire system is made from marine grade, heavy duty nylon, which does not get excessively hot in direct sunlight.
While some competitors use readily available, inexpensive tethers from China, the metal “D” rings found on those tethers increase the risk of injuries. The metal components can also get very hot from the sun and corrode over time. We prioritize safety and have developed our own durable tether system. Our commitment to quality ensures a safer and more reliable experience for our customers.
If you prefer a second tether system, the “one-time snap” tether system can be easily installed when purchased as an accessory. When considering placement of an additional Tether Kit, caution needs to be taken as to not put additional strain on your pad from both ends. The bungee tether system acts as a shock absorber, allowing the pad to move freely and providing a comfortable experience. Remember to maintain slack in the bungee when tethering to prevent excessive strain.
