Summer is here, the sun’s blazing, and your Aqua Lily Pad is calling. Whether you’re at the lake house or floating dockside, there’s no better way to chill with your kids or grandkids. But when it comes to fun on the water, safety isn’t optional. It’s essential.
Here’s how to enjoy your foam lake float with peace of mind and zero stress.
Always Supervise. Seriously, Always.
The Aqua Lily Pad is a fantastic kids’ lake toy, but it is not a personal flotation device. According to our product label:
“NEVER leave a child unattended while using this toy. Adult supervision is required at all times.”
No exceptions. Kids love to test boundaries (and gravity), so stay close. Pro tip: Rotate water-watcher duty so every adult gets to enjoy the fun, too.
Life Jackets Aren’t Optional
The Aqua Lily Pad is NOT a PFD.
We highly recommend a properly fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jacket for every child. And yes, adults too if needed.
From our owner’s manual:
“The use of a life jacket is recommended but is ultimately the responsibility of a parent or each individual adult.”
Let kids personalize their gear to make safety part of the fun.
Respect the Depth
We get it, shallow water seems safer. But here’s the truth:
“This product should only be used in water at least six feet deep.”
Jumping, diving, or even just tipping off the float in shallow water can be dangerous. Always check the depth and make sure there are no docks, rocks, weeds, logs, or tree branches nearby. Big, open spaces are best, lakes and beaches are ideal.
No Towing. No Horseplay. No Kidding.
The Aqua Lily Pad is made for floating and relaxing, NOT towing, flipping, or launching cannonballs:
“This product is not designed to be towed.”
“When jumping onto the Foam Water Pad or engaging in any horseplay, owner assumes all risk and liability.”
Set clear float rules: no wrestling, no running starts, and definitely no dragging it behind your boat.
Inspect, Clean, Repeat
Minor scuffs and tears can happen with normal use. No need to panic. They’re mostly cosmetic but always inspect your mat before use to keep everyone safe and smiling.
“With continued usage, minor scuffs and surface tears may occur that do not affect the safety and fun of the product.”
Keep it clean, dry it after use, and store it out of reach from pets (those claws don’t mix well with foam).
Bonus Tip: Pet Parents, Take Note
Yes, dogs love the Lily Pad too, but supervision still applies. Use discretion when letting pets on the float and consider a pet life jacket for extra peace of mind.
“The Foam Water Pad is not pet-proof. Should pets be placed on the pad, they should be supervised at all times.”
Wrapping Up
With a few smart precautions, your Aqua Lily Pad becomes the perfect launchpad for summer fun. Float safe, laugh loud, and let the memories roll
